Matt leads Finovo’s work with advisory and service organizations that want more reliable growth from the effort they’re already investing. He combines the mindset of a consultant with hands-on marketing and product execution, giving clients a bespoke, concierge-style approach.
After graduating from UC Irvine, he launched Amity Capital to make investing more accessible for younger investors. He was later recruited by Betterment to help increase B2B adoption and build tools for wealth management firms to quickly launch on the platform, and went on to spearhead digital strategy at AdvicePeriod.
In 2017, Matt founded MasonPay, an app that created custom payoff plans and helped more than 5,000 users pay down over $40 million in credit card debt—contributing to greater financial literacy and freedom. He has been recognized as one of InvestmentNews’ youngest 40 Under 40 honorees.
Outside client work, Matt supports initiatives like Operation Santa Claus and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County and offers pro-bono marketing support to small businesses and nonprofits in his community. He’s also a long-suffering, but loyal LA Clippers fan.
